Working with heirlooms, bequeathed and found objects, as well as material emanations from my artistic practice, these works stem from with the way in which objects serve as the containers for mental life, embedded with personal histories, relationships, and desires, affected by the ongoing, unique frictions of space and time.  Like talismans, they are imbued with iconography, design, and materials drawn from both realities and notions of gift-giving, prayer, healing, and fortitude.
